Palacio My rating: 5 of 5 stars August (Auggie) is a years old boy who was born with facial deformity and had to go through dozens of surgeries to save his life Auggie never went to regular school - he was homeschooled- but his parents decided that it's time for him to be enlisted in one because it would be best for his education, also they want him to make friends Ofcourse being a new kid at a new school is ain't easy specially if you were Auggie. He's trying to show his school friends that he's just like them, with an extraordinary facial appearances. I really enjoyed reading this book; it was one of my anticipated reads for 2017 (but I read it in Jan 2018), it's really insightfull and heartworming. I liked that it was told from a kid POV because you get to see how he truely feels and what he's thinking of.
